How It All Began
|
Back in the summer of 1993 on a beach in Dumio, Corsica, a booker from the Madison agency, "syping" this 5 foot 7 and a half inch dark-haired Venus amid mere mortal tourist, slipped his card to her parents and suggested their daughter step in front of the cameras. Skeptical at first, they eventually caved into Laetitia's pleas. They asked her in return to be herself and respect others. The day her first test shots, well know photographer Satoshi Saikusa spotted her at the studio and booked her on the spot. Since then she has grown up a lot. She has gained more assurance of herself, she is more independant now and knows where she is going. And going she is. Everywhere from Iceland to South Africa. She's been to the Bahamas, Kenya, Mexico, but it's the United States where she is most in demand. Her career as a professional poser seemed inevitable. There was of course, the matter of her constant dress-ups. As a little girl, she would often wear 2 different outfits a day. Her mother went crazy with all the laundry. But she thinks clothes are so feminine, like lipstick. She lives at home in Paris with her parents and 2 sibilings. Her few indulgences include CD's, rollerblades, and after-noons of go-carting with her brother. When she goes home at night she just likes to dance alone along with disco music. Her only regret was the she had to quit Judo.
